ST. Paul, Minn. (Fox 9) – A solid fire Sunday in a floor company in St. Paul, causing the collapse of the roof, said officials.
Large fire of St. Paul
What we know:
A two alarms fire torn the Fulton soil on Sunday afternoon.
The crews responded around 1 p.m. to the report of a fire on Atwater Street West, between Western avenue North and Rice Street.
Dig more deeply:
The flames forced the firefighters to fight the fire from the outside.
At 2:30 p.m., the firefighters dropped most of the fire. The firefighters say that the fire caused a total roof collapse.
It seems that the company is closed on Sunday and the firefighters say that there was no fire injury.
A neighboring building was also damaged by the fire.
What we don’t know:
The cause of the fire is not yet known. The fire survey is underway.
The firefighters say that the owners of the building told crews that there had been a fire in a garbage dumpster next to the building recently. It is not known if the fire started in the dumpster this time.
What is the next step:
The officials say that the Ministry of Security and Inspections provided for the construction to be demolished.
