Here are some creative and educational events that take place through the state:
Ballyhoo festival
Ballyhoo is a Festival of Fine Arts and Jurisal Culture in the middle of the beauty of the spring of the Gulf State Park. The festival offers a celebration of American heritage, art, live music and food sellers. Take advantage of the culture of the Indians of Poarch Creek and a violin and banjo competition of the Music of the Appalachians. The celebration will take place from March 1 to 2. Renew our rivers
Participate in a Renew Our Rivers (Ror) cleaning on Saturday March 1 along Valley Creek in Adger, Birmingham, Bessemer and Providence. Those interested in volunteer should send an email to Hana Berres in burwinklej@jccal.org Or call 205-325-8741. Ror is a national campaign national from Alabama Power in 2000. Since his departure, more than 134,000 volunteers have withdrawn more than 8,450 tonnes of waste and rivers, lakes and streams in four southeast states. Pink Palace Casino Night
The Alabama breast cancer research foundation is betting that the evening on the theme of Vegas will be a night of pleasure and fundraising to support local research on breast cancer. Customers will discover live music from II da Maxx, VEGAS style casino games such as blackjack, slot machines and roulette and a silent auction with items given by local businesses. Silent auctions include vacation packages, luxury products and a dedicated electric guitar Taylor Swift Eras Tour in a limited edition. The event will take place on Saturday March 1 at the Gallery of Events Suiree in Hoover. Tickets include complementary beer and wine, heavy outdoors provided by Kathy G. and Co., $ 500 in charitable game money and a chance to win door prizes. Tuesday fatty festivities

Chile cook
The exceptional base will welcome its annual Chile cook Saturday, March 1 at the Brookwood Village near Birmingham from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will showcase live music, a children’s area and all the chili that you can eat. The product will directly benefit exceptional foundation programs.
A yard at a time
The letters of the United States welcome its annual gala of a yard at a time of the Birmingham club on Friday, February 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. the guests celebrate with military heroes, former football players and professional coaches to help collect funds for veterans in need. This year’s sports winner is Richard Shea and the military winner is the counter-admiral W. Kent Davis, USN (retired). For tickets and more information, visit Lotua.org.

NWBA Southeastern Junior Division Championship
The 20 athletes of 20 Basketball teams in a wheelchair of young people will go to the court from March 1 to 2 while the Junior Division Conference of the NWBA Southeastern returns to the Lakeshore Foundation in Birmingham. The teams will move from the southeast to participate in the tournament. Admission to games is free. The complete details of the tournament, including the calendar, can be found here.
