The retail chain of exterior lifestyle at a reduced price should open a store on Saturday March 1 in North Coeur d’Alene.
The 20,200 square foot store will be located in the Silverlake at 95 Retail Plaza, in the old Bath and Beyond Space at 440 W. Wilbur, next to a TJ Maxx store. The place is just northwest of and through the United States 95 of the Silver Lake Mall.
Sierra offers outdoor leisure and fitness equipment, clothing, shoes and other goods from brand name manufacturers, including Carhartt, Sonon, Redwing and Simms, according to a press release published by the store chain.
“We are delighted to open the second location of the Idaho de la Sierra and to present our off-price shopping experience at the Alene Coeur Community,” explains Amanda Johnson, assistant vice-president and Sierra marketing director, in the press release.
The other gem state store of the company is located in the city of Meridian in the south of Idaho.
The company’s representatives could not be reached immediately for additional comments.
Sierra is a sister company of the discount store chain TJ Maxx, the flaming chain of Framingham, TJX Cos., Based in Massachusetts, which operates Marshalls, another chain of clothing at a reduced price, and the chain of furniture and decoration stores.
Sierra is currently hiring new partners in full -time and part -time stores at the heart of Alene, according to the press release.
The chain was founded in 1986 under the name of Sierra Trading Post and was acquired by TJX COS. In 2012. Sierra currently operated 117 stores, including two in western Washington, according to his website.
