Former Los Angeles Spark Layshia Clarendon announced among the first four classes of the LGBTQ 2025 sports fame

Sports Equality Foundation (SEF) is proud to announce the first four inducted enthusiasts of the LGBTQ 2025 sports renowned temple class, recognizing the pioneers who have made important contributions to sport, advocacy and inclusion. This year’s winners have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to equity, representation and leadership in athletics.
The first four inducted in the 2025 class are:
- Erik Braverman (Il / Him) – Executive Sports / La Dodgers
- Layshia Clarendon (She / they) – Leader of WNBA and All -Star, activist, defender
- Pat griffin (Elle / Elle) – Professor Emerita, Education of Social Justice
- Kirk Walker (He / him) – Softball coach NCAA D1 / LGBTQ Advocat

The LGBTQ Sports Hall of Fame honors athletes, coaches, executives and defenders who have had a lasting impact on the world of sport by leadership, visibility and commitment to inclusion. The 2025 enthronement ceremony will take place on August 10, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada, bringing together leaders and supporters of all industry to celebrate these remarkable achievements.
