The vice-president of the Eggs Unlimited Brian Mosgiuri explains why the prices of the eggs will continue to skyrocket while the bird flu epidemic slows down production.
The Walmart finance manager said that the retailer had been able to maintain his shelves filled with eggs despite the current national shortage, which forced several companies to impose restrictions on purchase.

Whole foods belonging to Amazon Signs have displayed panels on its shelves by informing customers that they can only buy three egg boxes at the same time.
“We are currently having difficulty looking for eggs that meet our strict animal welfare standards,” said a panel displayed in one of its stores in New York.
Kroger previously confirmed to Fox Business that certain banner divisions also limit egg sales. In stores where limits are in place, the company asks customers to buy only two dozen eggs per trip.

“Eggs are part of many types of dishes, but the price increase is particularly difficult for restaurants focused on breakfast to manage,” said Kennedy. “When shortages like this occur, operators work closely with their food suppliers to determine how it will affect them. There are several options that operators are considering, to change their menus to increase their prices.”

Waffle House, a southern breakfast food chain, added a temporary 50 cents by supplement to all its menus. The company blamed the current egg shortage for the spectacular increase in egg prices, saying that “consumers and restaurants are forced to make difficult decisions”.
Small restaurants, such as Mexican coffee and New York -based bakery, are also affected. Ursula owner and chief of chief Eric, told Fox Business that whole egg prices have doubled, while the cost of liquid eggs had increased by around 25%.
