Pope Francis thanks the “consolid prayers” in the midst of health problems

In the midst of the Vatican Declaration which Pope Francis remains hospitalized In critical condition with respiratory problems, the pontiff returned to social media on Sunday to thank the world for his support.

After the news on Saturdays that Pope Francis had an “asthmatic respiratory crisis” which required a blood transfusion, said spokesperson for the Vatican on Sunday morning, the spokesman, the Pope rested. The Vatican added that the 88 -year -old Pope remained aware but in critical condition, and still received additional oxygen for his pulmonary infection.

Despite the health problems, Pope Francis’ social media still delivered his #gospeloftheday on Sunday, which was accompanied by a note from His Holy to thank the sympathizers for their prayers.

“I recently received many messages of affection, and I was particularly struck by the letters and drawings of children”, the pope wrote. “Thank you for your proximity and for the consoling prayers that I received from the whole world!”

While Pope Frances could not deliver his Sunday mass to the Vatican – the Archbishop Rino Fisichella took his place and offered a special prayer to the Pope, The Associated Press reports – The Holy Father prepared a message to read during noon prayer, saying that he was receiving a “necessary treatment” in the hospital and that “rest is also part of therapy!”

On social networks, the account of Pope Frances wrote“I urge you to continue your apostolate with joy and to be the sign of a love that kisses everyone, as the #Gospeloftheday suggests. May we transform evil into goodness and build a fraternal world. Do not be afraid to take risks for love! »»
