A new series of live music arrives at the city center of City this spring.
A post Shared Wednesday on the official Facebook page of the TC city center on Wednesday announced the launch of “Live After 5”, describes as “a series of free outdoor entertainment features emerging and established artists”. This series will take place for four Friday evenings this spring, from May 16 to June 6, each event highlighting local artists from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Live at 5 years will include simultaneous performance in two main locations in the city center. The first performance spot is Jay Smith’s bridge between Pangea and Kilwin, while the second is located in front of Horizon Books. According to the announcement, the series aims to offer “a mixture of genres and styles to keep the atmosphere cool and engaging every week”.
The city center of Traverse City calls musicians and artists to be part of the Live AT 5 series, with applications now live On the official website of downtown TC. Although the series is mainly presented as an offer of live music, programmers will also examine the applications of other types of street artists, such as jugglers, magicians and living statues.
“With a limited performance budget, we are looking for passionate artists wishing to engage with the community,” said the position, praising “an excellent opportunity to win an exhibition and occur in a well -followed outdoor space”.
