Jackson, Miss. (WLBT) – A man is at the hospital after trying to steal a jackson business on Friday afternoon.
The Mississippi Public Security Ministry said that the Capitol police responded to a call at 1:18 p.m. concerning a skilled flight attempt in a company on highway.
Once the officers arrived on the scene, they learned that Jonathan Gibson, 27, had fled the premises after being shot in the stomach by another individual inside the establishment.
According to MDPS, Gibson has extensive criminal history and previously tried to steal the same place.
It was located shortly after the police arrived and taken to the hospital, where he is in a stable state.
Gibson will be accused of skilled flight and serious assault.
