ERIE, PA. -A number of Gannon spring sports were to open this weekend, but they will have to wait a little longer due to the cold and severe snow that have struck a large part of the United States. For baseball and softball, the start of their seasons will be just a day delayed. The women’s butt, on the other hand, was forced to postpone her first game to a later date.
BASEBALL
Head Canon DJThe team was to open its doors with a three game set in Shippensburg from Friday. These games have been pushed by day. The two teams will now play a double head on Saturday February 22 from 12 noon. The Golden Knights and the Raiders will then play a single nine -round game on Sunday, February 23 from 12 noon.
Softball
Like the baseball team, Michelle WileyThe softball team will also have to wait a day to take the ground. It becomes a little more difficult then. The Golden Knights participate in Sue Morris Sports Compleic Classic in Glenville State. Initially scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, the tournament was given to Sunday and Monday. An updated calendar will be published when available. Gannon was originally to play two games on Saturday and two on Sunday.
Women’s butt
