JudgeThe day of the ment arrived a little before the date scheduled for Matthew Lawrence, gracked his inability to respect the work standards of an actor.
For a frank moment in the Monday episode of Podcast “Rewind Magical”, Hosted by his comrade “Boy Meets World” Will Friedle and actor Sabrina Bryan, the trio plunged behind the scenes of the 90s television film “He Double Hockey Sticks”.
The film, which centered the diabolical character of Friedle who was sent to Earth to capture the soul of a young hockey player (Lawrence), also played a young Union of Gabrielle. During the shooting process, Union wanted to repeat the lines with Lawrence, but the actor refused his offer.
“There was a time when – and, once again, I am unconscious, I had no idea – she wanted to repeat,” recalls Lawrence. “And I said to myself:” No, I’m fine. “”

His justification? The “racing lines” withdrew “all the freshness” of the performance.
Union would not have been delighted with his decision and greeted his grievances to a higher power.
“And she got angry and went to the director and the studio to me,” said Lawrence. “The only time in my entire career, because generally I am, like the defender, and I fight for children and, as, you know, women’s rights. This is the only time in my life when I was called to the office for something I did on the set. And I had no idea.
Lawrence admitted that it was his only “running” with another actor – a moment he said left him “embarrassed”.

At the time, Lawrence said that he did not know Union, but said that people on the set knew that she was going to explode and become a big star. The same year as the beginnings of the film, she continued to play in “10 things that I hate about you” and “she is all that”, and the following year had appeared in the classic cult “Bring it on” as well as “love & basketball.”
