NEW YORK – THE 2025 NBA HBCU Classic Presented by AT&T will offer a range of celebrations, entertainment and career development possibilities for the HBCU community, the NBA announced today. The weekend of activities during the NBA All-Star 2025 continues the commitment of the League to celebrate the rich traditions and the culture of colleges and historically black (HBCU) and providing career development opportunities to students of HBCU. For the fourth consecutive year, AT&T will serve as a sponsor presenting the HBCU Classic, with Foot Locker and Google serving as associated sponsors. The game will present musical performance of the star banner by PJ Morton and will lift each voice of Goapele.
The NBA HBCU Classic presented by the participants AT&T Morehouse College and the Tuskegee University of the Southern Intercollegate Athletic Conference (SIAC) will each receive $ 100,000 from the NBA and the AT&T. In addition, the NBA, AT&T and Associate sponsors will highlight the HBCU through the NBA All-Star 2025 through activations, career development and entertainment opportunities.

The classic of the NBA HBCU 2025 presented by AT&T will start at 2:00 p.m. PT on Saturday February 15, 2025, in Oakland Arena. The game will be broadcast on ESPN +, NBA TV and TRUTV. Talent on the antenna includes Brian Custer, Grant Hill and Taylor Rooks.
The NBA ALL-STAR 2025 will be opportunities for athlete students from the two schools and a wider range of HBCU students focused on professional development. HBCU student activities, activations and partners’ celebrations include:
Classic HBCU event “Bienvenue à la Baie”
The NBA and the locker on foot will organize a welcome event for the male basketball teams of Morehouse College and Tuskegee University, groups, teams of joy, elders and parents to celebrate the participation of their school in the NBA All-Star 2025 and participate in a shopping experience. Foot Locker will offer gifts and organize a meeting for students with the legend of the NBA Mitch Richmond. This event is open to the public and will take place on Thursday, February 13 from 6.30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PT at Foot Locker in San Francisco (150 Powell St San Francisco, CA 94102).
Classic NBA HBCU teams participating in the NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service
The male, group and joy basketball teams Morehouse College and Tuskegee University will participate in the 17th year of annual service of the NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service in community service projects in San Francisco.
2025 Castrol Rising Stars: players’ development workshop
The players participating in the game of stars Rising 2025 of 2025 will create and mix musical beats with the founder of Motesars, Derek Ali (Mixedbyali) as part of the Co -Lab de l’UnfSHD – A creative workshop organized by the Department of Development of NBA players. La NBA, in partnership with AT&T, Foot Locker Google, Rise, Pensole Lewis College, UNCF and TMCF, will organize a career development session for students from Morehouse College, Tuskegee University, the NBA All-Star Hbcu Event Program, AT&T RISING FUTURE MANUFTERS AND ALL HBCU students present during the NBA ALL-STAR. The theme is “Next Gen Trailblazers: Sport, Tech & Culture Innovators”. The day will start with a career panel followed by personalized breeze tracks led by the NBA staff and partners. The guests will include NBA players, NBA legends, NBA staff and business partners from various departments.
