Harrison County, Miss. (Wlox) – Parker’s Scrap, located at 68 Parkertown Road in Mchenry, could face legal problems after having pretended more than 1,400 pounds of copper wire.

The police investigated the previous arrests of Copper Wire, which led the officials to make a search warrant at the Parker Scrap on February 4.

The Harrison County Sheriff department, the Hancock County Sheriff department and the Mississippi investigation office led the search warrant.

During the search, officials say they have found and seized more than 1,400 pounds of copper communication wire obtained illegally.

The Harrison County Sheriff department claims that Parker scrap metal did not have the documentation required to obtain copper wire, so that the wire was determined to have been stolen and obtained illegally by the company.

The Secretary of State was informed and the case was given to the district prosecutor’s office for current criminal proceedings.

The investigation is underway. Managers say that more search mandates and arrests are possible.
