A man who turns firearms that a MP for Colorado fired and killed in a parking lot outside a family entertainment center during a call for “active shooter” on Saturday evening drawn another woman Inside the company a few minutes earlier, the authorities said.
The shots occurred just before midnight during the main event of Highlands Ranch, a popular place that welcomes bowling, birthday parties and other events, the Douglas County Sheriff Bureau said.
The first deputy to arrive at the scene met a man brandishing a weapon in the parking lot, according to the Sheriff’s office. The man refused to comply with the deputy’s orders to drop the weapon and turned to the deputy, who then pulled and struck the man.
Despite the deputies carrying out rescue measurements on man, but he was declared dead on the scene.

The deputies then learned that a shooting involving two women had occurred inside the company.
“It was excited. There were still a lot of customers here when the shots sounded,” said Sheriff Darren Weekly on the scene, adding that several laps had been dismissed inside the company.

A victim was found inside with a ball injury to his chest and another wound on the foot, said the sheriff’s office. She was transported urgently to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
The female shooter was placed in police custody. No other details on the female shooter or the male who was killed was immediately provided.

Weekly said investigators thought the male killed in the parking lot was linked to the shooting that occurred inside.
The detectives question several witnesses while the shooting investigation remains in progress.
