According to the police, the Q-Trans transport had transferred the product to a second company in Montreal that it hired to finish delivery because it had special heated trailers to store olive oil.
The Q-Trans transport reported the flight on Wednesday and the police said that the second company was investigated for stealing oil.
Montreal police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant said the police examine images of the security camera, but have not found the missing oil or arrests so far.
The investigation is underway.
