Well Go USA Entertainment has acquired North American rights on “Barron’s Cove”, a criminal drama of kidnapping with Garrett HedlundStephen Lang, Brittany Snow and Hamish linklater. The film was written and directed by Evan Ari Kelman and had his world premiere at the Hamptons International Film Festival. He will make his debut this summer.
“Barron’s Cove” follows a father with a violent past (Hedlund) who cries the death of his only child. Convinced of a concealment, he kidnaps the boy in difficulty which he holds responsible – the son of an eminent local politician. The movement ignites a massive man hunt. But as the character of Hedlund approaches the discovery of the truth, he begins to wonder if his pursuers try to protect the boy or the secrets he keeps. Christian Convery, Raúl Castillo, Tramell Tillman, Marc Menchaca and John D. Hickman complete the cast.
Hedlund’s credits include “Mudbound” and “Tulsa King”; Lang played in “Avatar” and “Don’t Breathe”; Snow is best known for his work in “Pitch Perfect”; And Linklater appeared in “The Big Short” and “Midnight Mass”. The film is Kelman’s first feature film.

The film was a co -production between SSS Entertainment, Mandalay Pictures and Yale Productions, in association with American Picture House Corporation. It was produced by Jason Michael Berman and Will Raynor for Mandalay, Shaun Sanghani for Sss and Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman for Yale. Chadd Harbold, Cory Thompson and banner Michael Macgregor serve as producers.
Hedlund is represented by WME, Brillastein Entertainment Partners & Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern. Lang is represented by innovative artists. The snow is represented by Gersh, the main entertainment and Sloane offer Weber & Dern. Linklater is replaced by CAA, Unitled Entertainment and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
The acquisition was negotiated by Brennan Lane for Well Go USA and UTA independent film Group on behalf of the filmmakers.
