Manchester, NH –
Hampstead hospital is now officially part of Dartmouth Health.
The public-private partnership comes after a series of brightness of violent patients in the hospital in the past two years.

This establishment offers psychiatric treatment for children and young adults.
Under the agreement, the state will continue to supervise the hospital, but Dartmouth Health will resume all the services.
The former governor of New Hampshire Chris Sununu and the The New Hampshire Executive Council approved the partnership in December 2024.
