Huntington, W.VA. (WSAZ) – Huntington’s non -profit organization needs help to stay afloat.

The owners of the wild ramp market say that because of an executive decree, the federal funding on which they are based has been interrupted. Although this order has been lifted, they need community aid.

“There was an executive decree to suspend federal funding which has been canceled, but our funds are still not accessible to us,” said market director Rebecca Gray. “There is not much information surrounding why, we have no final time, and because we do not know with certainty when it is, we really take measures to reduce our costs to ensure that We are not expenses.

With the gap in funding, Gray said there were some problems that concern them most.

“Our main concerns at the moment are only our operating costs to which many things go in public services, our insurance, our payroll. All this can be affected by this loss of funding and these are very essential to keep our store store open. In the long term, the worst case, we can see a temporary closure of the store so that it is important that we see funds arriving so that we can cover these costs and remain open as much as possible, ”said Gray.

If you want to donate to Wild Ramp, visit their donation page.

They also said that shopping at the store or sponsor an event to come in April could really help.
