Reggie will be raised by the organizations of riders and monsters as part of his early training and socialization. Once his training is finished, Regie will continue to serve a American veteran or first disabled speakerOffering support and a company that change life.
In particular, riders are the first NBA team to participate in the breeding of an assistance dog through the American Vetdogs puppy for a purpose® Initiative – A non -profit national organization that provides highly qualified assistance dogs to veterans and first disabled stakeholders. Thanks to this revolutionary partnership, CAVS will help compensate for the significant costs associated with breeding, elevation, training and implementation of each assistance dog, while demonstrating their commitment to support those who have served our communities and our country.

Reggie, a Labrador Retriever, an 11 -week Labrador Yellow, will undergo basic training and socialization with the CAVS franchise and colleagues from the Rock Entertainment Group, the American Hockey League Cleveland monsters in the next 14 to 18 month. The CAVS and the monsters will welcome Reggie in their front office, during community events, practices and to select home matches to help them develop a future confident and calm service dog.

Reggie will make its CAVS debut on Sunday February 2, 2025, when the team welcomed the Dallas Mavericks at 3.30 p.m. HNE in Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Its beginnings on monsters will follow on Sunday, February 23 against the Senators of Belleville at Midi in Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
