Andre RoheWho had previously held senior engineering positions at Meta, YouTube and Google, was hired to lead a newly created consolidated product engineering team in the Disney Entertainment and Espn Technological group.
Rohe comes directly from Adam Smith, product manager and technology to Disney Entertainment And ESPN, who joined the company last September. The new organization led by Rohe unifies many Disney and ESPN products engineering teams in a single team focused on digital products and platforms covering entertainment and sport properties.
Rohe joins Disney Entertainment and ESPN after more than two decades of leading engineering teams at Meta, YouTube, Google and Fabess Semiconductor Company Tabula, where he led to work in the recommendations, personalization, AI, learning Automatic, big data and more in news, entertainment, video and more.
Rohe and Smith previously worked together: Smith is a 20-year-old former youtube and Google, having recently been vice-president of product management on YouTube.

Rohe was recently vice-president of engineering at Meta, to support the flow, the recommendation, the coil classification, Facebook videos and research, working in the company from October 2021 to March 2023. He left Meta to take a break and travel the world with his wife.
Before Meta, Rohe spent six years in YouTube, where as vice-president of engineering, he managed the team working on all recommendations for the video platform. He previously worked at Google, where he was in charge of engineering and product for Google News, as well as the growth and classification of the social product zone. Rohe holds a doctorate in discrete mathematics from Bonn University in Germany.
