COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Growing feet always need new shoes!
From Monday, Fleet Feet will associate with the Walter Foundation to equip 800 Columbus children with new shoes this holiday season.
The goal is to support local schools and spread joy among students during the holidays. This year, the shoe distribution will benefit the following local schools:
United Elementary State Street: Monday, December 9, 2024, starting at 9:30 a.m., located at 617 W. State St, Columbus, OH 43215.
17th Street United Elementary School: Tuesday, December 10, 2024, starting at 8:30 a.m., located at 31 N. 17th St, Columbus, OH 43203.
St. Mary’s School (in German Village): Tuesday, December 17, 2024, starting at 9:00 a.m., located at 700 S. 3rd St, Columbus, OH 43206.
Fleet Feet staff and volunteers will be on hand at each school to ensure proper fit and to help students choose a running shoe or sneaker from their inventory.
