A man from Vancouver was arrested and released as part of a vandalism incident in a Tesla Kitsilano dealer.
The police said they were called around 1:30 am to Burrard Street and West 4th Avenue after reporting that a man had obscenities painted by spray on the front window.
A witness called 911 and this allowed the police to respond immediately and find the suspect nearby, the police added.
The man, 27, faces charges of mischief and will appear before the criminal court on May 15.

“Vancouver’s police service supports everyone’s right to engage in peaceful and legitimate demonstrations, but people who commit acts of violence and mischief will be faced with arrests and criminal accusations,” the police said in a statement.
Vancouver police have confirmed that since January 1, eight acts of confirmed mischief in the city who think that the police are politically motivated and opposed to the political affiliation of the owner Tesla, Elon Musk, with the American government.
All files remain open and actively pay attention, the police said.
