Given the chaos and uncertainty unleashed by the trade war, it is difficult, if not impossible, that companies participating in global supply chains formulate strategies in the medium term. To find out how companies face short term, we have interviewed supply chain leaders in more than a dozen manufacturers and retailers inside and outside the United States. These conversations have provided an overview of the measures that companies take to mitigate the negative effects on their businesses, including the morale of employees.
