Last week, Avalanche Canada published a special AVALANCHE WARNING For central rocks until Monday.
He issued the warning Thursday evening, which covered the national parks of Banff, Yoho, Kootenay and Jasper, and the country of Kananaskis.
The agency has warned that dangerous conditions could also be present in areas adjacent to these areas.
“Recent storm snow covers a small structure of snowpack and has produced many very large avalanches in the past two weeks. Avalanches triggered on this layer have largely spread, even through wooded areas, and can involve the total depth of the snowpack,” said the warning.
More to come.
