Unsurprisingly, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is not a big fan of this idea. On Tuesday, while Trump’s son Donald Jr. was visiting the island, she said that “Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders”.
Musk also had his say on »
The Netherlands
Musk’s preference for meeting with far-right figures was once again on display during his interview with Geert Wilders, the Dutch politician who has long campaigned on an anti-Islam and anti-migration platform.
Owner X highlighted the country’s low birth rate and claimed that “the Dutch nation would die out with its own hands.” With 12 children, Musk should have plenty of useful advice for the wise Dutch.
Venezuela
Left-wing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro X banned for 10 days last August after coming to blows with Musk. The owner of X called Maduro a “dictator” and a “clown” and accused him of “major electoral fraud.” To be honest, this last song is also the assessment of the current American administration.
Finland
In his pre-X era, Musk mocked Sanna Marin, then Prime Minister of Finland, for visiting a nightclub in late 2021 after being exposed to someone with Covid-19. His meme included a photo of two young adults in a nightclub with the caption: “So, what do you do for a living? I am the Prime Minister of Finland. He followed up with a message saying Marin “looks cool,” prompting the then-prime minister to tout his country’s climate credibility.
